Off to PR

Sunday saw us off to Puerto Rico. Blowing stink all week and sunday morning.....  nutin. No wind. Motored all the way there. No fish either. But it made docking easier once we got there. Ryan joined us as crew for the passage. He flies back to STT thursday.
Off the dock, 7 am.
Captain Paige makes it look easy.
Here is how the crew spent most of the trip.

Ryan did work doubles 2 days in a row before we left. He didnt get to the boat till 2:00 am and we left at 7. So......

Docking as always fun. And if you blow it the cement piers eat your boat. This one went pretty smooth. I love bow thrusters.

You got time to lean you got time to clean!!! Get on it woman!! Teak is not your friend.

Below is the marina we are in. Palmas Del Mar. 3000 acre comunity. Homes, condos, schools, miles of beaches, pretty cool. We have just started to explore our way around here.

This is a shot off our stern looking out at the atlantic. Blowing 30 knots all day.

Tomorrow we are renting a car and going up to the rain forest. Supposed to be amazing water falls and views. Might have some cool pix to post from that. Or we get offed in a wreck on the way. They drive CRAZY here!

All for now. Gota get these girls to post something!!

Start out the day with a little schooling. Algebra II is going to be a blast. NOT! Its been 35 years since I did this stuff! Thats a lot of cobwebs!!!

Then after school a little boat maintenance. Dawn and Paige haul me up the mast for a deck light change out.

Dawn said she should have left me up there!
Then off to the laundry. Boating is such fun!!!

And then off for a 20 minute hike to the local McDonalds. Dawns just got to have the coke!!!

BTW, Here is a shot of our catamaran ViVo going through the draw bridge on St Marteen.

Thats all for now. Dawn and Paige will post something later.

We arrived in St Thomas on Jan 22. ViVo is docked in the Marina at Crown Bay which is an area in St Thomas with a gro store, laundry, fuel and most  important a chandlery. Thats where we get all the parts for the boat that Mike has to fix!!! And something is always broken!!!
